Holy grail products : Face

 

I'm starting a series of post in which I will talk a little bit about my all time favourite products. All of this products except for a foundation are not new to my collection, the newer ones are at least 2-3 months old, so I have already used them plenty of times!

Con questo primo post inizio una serie in cui parlerò un po' dei miei prodotti preferiti di sempre, infatti tutti tranne il fondotinta catrice li possiedo da almeno 2 o 3 mesi, per cui posso dire per certo che non potrei farne a meno.

Iniziamo con i prodotti per il viso!

Today I'm going to start with face products!

• Catrice Photo Finish foundation in 110 sand beige (First use here)
• Make up Forever HD foundation in n° 117
• Kiko skin tone corrector in n°04 green
• The Balm time balm concealer in light
• Mac studio finish concealer in NW20
• Catrice mineral compact powder in 110 Light beige

I have a problem with some redness on my cheeks and around my nose. For that reason back in December i bought Kiko's skin tone corrector in green and since then I use it almost everyday under any foundation. 
Da sempre ho dei rossori sulle gote ed intorno al naso, per questo motivo a Dicembre ho comprato lo skin tone corrector di Kiko e da allora lo utilizzo quasi ogni giorno dopo la crema idratante e con qualsiasi fondotinta.

I've used different foundations in the past year or two. I recently finished my Revlon colorstay and loved it, but I was over it and looking forward to try something new. I initially wanted to buy Lancome's teint miracle, because I tried a sample of it and really loved it. Then I went to cosmoprof in Bologna (make up show, like Imats) and I bought MUFE HD foundation.
I love the finish, the staying power, the buildable coverage and the color, a perfect match for my fair yellow-ish skin.
Catrice photo finish on the contrary it's a recent love. I don't tan easily and I dind't do it on pourpose, but I've noticed in the last few days that the mufe one is starting to wash me out a little bit, so here comes handy catrice. I love it for the same reason of MUFE, except for a little cons, the smell!! I've noticed that many german products from various brands are heavily scented, unlikely american or italian products, which are little or no scented at all.
The coverage of this it's medium but not buildable like the mufe.
In passato ho provato molti fondotinta, di fatti ho appena finito il colorstay di Revlon, che mi è piaciuto parecchio, ma era giunto il momento di provare qualcosa di nuovo. Inizialmente volevo acquistare il fondo teint miracle di Lancome, avendo provato qualche campioncino. Alla fine al Cosmoprof ho approfittato dello sconto sulla MUFE e ho comprato il fondotinta HD. Mi piace davvero tanto per il finish che lascia luminoso, per la coprenza e per il colore molto simile al mio, chiaro e giallino. Purtroppo mi sono accorta che involontariamente sto iniziando a prendere un pochino di colore- dannato sole- per cui l'HD inizia a diventare un po' chiaro. Sono passata quindi al Catrice photo finish, che mi piace per gli stessi motivi, nonostante la coprenza sia leggermente superiore.
Ho notato una cosa curiosa, i prodotti tedeschi hanno di solito un odore più forte rispetto ai nostri oppure alle marche americane, infatti l'unico lato negativo di questo fondo è il profumo un po' troppo persistente. Avete fatto caso anche voi a questo particolare?

Catrice Mineral compact powder is a great powder with a matt finish I don't really know if it's really mineral, but it does its job, it's cheap, the downside is that catrice discontinued it!
La cipria minerale di catrice, non so dirvi se sia davvero minerale, ma fa il suo lavoro: dare un finish matt, costa poco, peccato che la Catrice non la produca più!

Last but not least my favourites concealers. The first love was MAC studio finish in nw20, I love the color, the blendability but sometimes it sets in the fine lines, I still love when I have really bad under eye circles, and lately seems to happen often, lol.                                                        Ultimi, ma non per importanza sono i miei correttori preferiti. Il primo amore è stato con lo studio finish di MAC, di cui adoro il colore, la facilità di stesura peccato per il fatto che a volte vada nelle odiose pighette. Nonostante ciò lo amo per le volte in cui ho delle occhiaie particolarmente pesanti e purtroppo capita spesso lol.

Again at Cosmoprof I bought the Balm concealer in light due to the positive reviews I read. It's a little bit less heavy than the MAC one and the color is more of a yellow tone. It's easy to blend and to apply. I always use my fingers with it, on the contrary with studio finish concealer I use a 217 kind of brush. I cannot live only with one of them, I use them both equally and love them the same!! Sempre al cosmoprof ho trovaro lo stand the Balm e non ho potuto resistere all'acquisto del loro famoso e lodato correttore. E' leggermente meno comprente di quello di MAC e il colore tende più al giallino. E' facilissimo da stendere e si fonde perfettamente con la pelle usando le dita, invece con quello MAC uso quasi sempre un pennello 217. Sinceramente devo dire che non riuscirei a scegliere un preferito tra i due, li adoro e li uso allo stesso modo!
